A peaceful afternoon scene at Bigelow Pond in Bigelow Hollow State Park, Union, CT. Bigelow Hollow State Park and the adjacent Nipmuck State Forest form a vast unspoiled area of more than 9,000 acres in the northeast corner of Connecticut near the Massachusetts border. The tiny town of Union, which is just off of Route 84 near Sturbridge, MA, is one of many scenic towns in the aptly-named Quiet Corner of Connecticut.
